About Us

The Supply Chain and Procurement Awards got their start in 2019 as the Atlanta Supply Chain Awards. Not only did this event recognize a wide variety of supply chain leaders & organizations, but a portion of the proceeds went on to provide a variety of scholarships, including two APICS certification scholarships that were given to Veterans.

Our initiative clearly resonated with the Metro Atlanta business community, and we built on that by holding a second event in March of 2020 – shortly before the world was stricken by the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the challenges, this event was even bigger than the first, as MODEX, one of the world’s biggest industry trade shows, hosted the 2020 Atlanta Supply Chain Awards. About 200 attendees celebrated more than 25 organizations in the event’s 2nd year. Companies such as Convoy, GreyOrange, Cisco, The Clorox Company, and many others were recognized for their leadership, results, and impact. Christian Fischer, President and CEO of Georgia Pacific, served as our keynote speaker.

While we weren’t able to hold the 2021 awards in March, we’ve been putting just as much energy and effort into expanding the Atlanta Supply Chain Awards into a truly global event that includes all facets of supply chain and logistics as well as the closely related discipline of procurement.

Our awards are still focused on recognizing individual and organizational excellence, and we have not lost our dedication to community and philanthropy. Although the event will be virtual in 2021, we invite you to join us for the celebration – and we hope to welcome the global supply chain and procurement communities to join us in person again in 2022.
